Change of Program

Project Summary:

Banner Workflow, which currently supports the Change of Program (CoP) process will be deprecated in June 2025. The current Change of Program process includes extensive manual processing, functionality does not allow for students to initiate the process, and excludes many functional departments from using the process due to limitations within the system.

Registration Revamp

Project Summary:

The current registration process of registration time controls and assigning PINS is reaching its limit of design. It is no longer conducive to Banner upgrades, which has led to issues with limited solutions. This is an opportunity to possibly expand registration group size to more students while still accommodating for system limitations. The aim is to review long-term goals, enhancements and streamlining to improve the overall experience of registration.

Prosperity Widely Shared Goals:

Ecampus Course Restrictions

Ecampus courses and degree offerings have grown in popularity over the years, resulting in high-demand courses reaching capacity quickly. Ecampus degree-seeking students have been increasingly unable to register for courses necessary for degree completion due to courses reaching capacity before all priority registration windows open.  This project aims to utilize enrollment management practices to increase access and support the degree progress of Ecampus students.

Prosperity Widely Shared Goals:
