This is an overview of the information and services provided by the Office of the Registrar:

  • Catalog and curriculum: academic programs and courses, curriculum proposals, Catalog Rights Policy
  • Classrooms and scheduling: adding course sections, reserving classrooms and scheduling courses, general purpose classrooms, SSR1000 instructions, instructor of record, graduate teaching assistants, and undergraduate teaching assistants
  • CORE Access for Request: gaining access to the Collaborative Open Reporting Environment of student data.
  • Data Requests: Requests for student data for program evaluation, assessment, research, and other related activities.
  • Degrees and graduation: degree requirements, degree clearance process and timelines, and the Commencement ceremony.
  • Grading and web services: Web-based tools for faculty, advisors, and staff to facilitate grade entry, FERPA training, instructor access request form, Canvas access for teaching assistants
  • Notices to students: The Office of the Registrar periodically notifies students about services and deadlines via their ONID email accounts. Advisors may see which messages are sent to particular students and the dates that the Office of the Registrar anticipates sending the notice.
  • Policies and regulations that govern actions of students, faculty, and staff.
