From: Dean of Student Life - Cascades
Dear OSU Cascades Students,
As we approach the end of the fall term, I am writing to reaffirm OSU’s commitment to mental well-being and student success. We have a wide variety of resources on campus to help prevent distress before it occurs and provide support when you need it. Below are some options for support and additional information that I hope you find helpful.
- OSU-Cascades Student Health and Wellness is committed to connecting students with help and support on and off campus. Services include short-term individual and group counseling for current OSU-Cascades students, as well as resources and services that address environmental, physical, emotional, financial, sexual, and social health.

- Office hours will vary between December 22nd and January 2nd
- Anytime Anywhere, a mental health platform that provides students with a variety of supports, including real-time chat and phone support and educational content.
- Additional local resources for immediate care for mental health crisis experiences include:
While not a direct mental health counseling service, OSU-Cascades' Student Care program is a dedicated resource to help students experiencing extenuating circumstances through resource referrals, coordinating care and helping navigate university resources. Some other campus resources that might be useful include:
- Financial Aid and Scholarships
- ASCC Student Support Services (food pantry, child care and housing support)
- Learning Lab (tutoring, academic coaching, online writing support, and workshops)
- Basic Needs Center (contact via email at [email protected]) for virtual consultations regarding SNAP and OHP enrollment through the Oregon Department of Human Services
- ASOSU Office of Advocacy
We wish you a successful end to fall term and a restful winter break!
Sincerely,
Katie
