Your Email is Moving to Microsoft 365 on Thursday, June 29

Oregon State University Students,
As we shared on April 24, student university email is moving from Google to Microsoft 365 this summer to provide stronger cyber security, simplified collaboration and calendaring, and better mail delivery. 

When is my email moving?
Your email is moving on Thursday, June 29. This date was selected to minimize interruption and in consideration of enrollment in summer sessions.

What should I expect?
Your email, calendar, and contacts from Gmail will move to your new Microsoft 365 account. After your email has moved to Microsoft 365, your Gmail account will no longer be available. Items like your email signature, filters, and labels will need to be re-created in Microsoft 365.

What happens next? 
You will receive a reminder email the week before your move to Microsoft 365. This email will contain details and resources to support your move, including instructions for accessing your email in Microsoft 365 and training resources.
