Ecampus course registration changes for fall 2025
Beginning with fall 2025 registration, most online undergraduate class sections will open to Corvallis-campus students starting Week 10 of the term (June 2).
What to know
- Corvallis-campus students can begin registering for most online (Ecampus) class sections starting Monday of Week 10 (June 2 at 6:00 a.m. PDT).
- The online restriction only applies to undergraduate-level courses.
- This change applies to fall, winter and spring terms. Summer term is excluded.
- There may be additional restrictions on some courses after June 2; these are managed by specific academic units.
Other important registration reminders
- Only one priority registration window
- 19 credits allowed at the start of registration for undergrad and postbacc students
- Waitlisting available at the start of registration
Limited exceptions are available for Ecampus restrictions
In rare cases, students may need to request an exception and seek a campus override for access prior to Monday of Week 10. You must work with your advisor. Examples include:
- Final term(s) very near graduation, where required class offerings are limited
- International exchange/study abroad
-
Active service members/veteran students who need access to an Ecampus section due to deployment, are currently out of state, or otherwise unable to attend Corvallis courses
This change is being implemented to ensure OSU Ecampus students, most of whom are not located in Corvallis, have the opportunity to register for their required courses and to meet the Prosperity Widely Shared goal of being a university where every student graduates.
