OSU-Cascades students, faculty and staff,
Thank you so much for all your efforts to make our accreditation process and visit so successful. If you didn’t see the report-out meeting on Friday, the visiting team leader, Bernadette Jungblut, commented on the great visit she had to OSU-Cascades on Tuesday. The university received many commendations for good things we are doing, and two recommendations for things we should improve upon, both of which should be relatively easy to address. Overall, it was a very good report for OSU and everyone should be proud of the good work we’re doing every day to advance Prosperity Widely Shared.
We particularly want to thank Beth Marino for being our accreditation leader throughout this process. She coordinated with the Corvallis leaders, gathered the necessary information from many of you, and kept us all informed about what would be expected in the accreditation visit.
Finally, thanks to everyone who showed up for the meetings with Dr. Jungblut. She said on more than one occasion that she had never seen so much participation in her 17 previous accreditation visits.
