Dear Student:

We write to share an update on the status of 1st floor ADA access during repairs to the elevator in Gilbert Hall. The temporary ramp being constructed on the east side of Gilbert Hall is nearing completion, however, there have been few minor setbacks. The ramp is expected to be completed this week; the earliest it will be completed is by Tuesday, October 3. The latest it will be completed is by Friday, October 6. We regret any inconvenience this construction delay causes you.

Until they ramp is complete, safe access to Gilbert Hall’s first floor is available with advance notice and can be requested by contacting Equal Opportunity and Access at 541-737-3556 or by emailing [email protected]. 

Gilbert Hall's 2nd and 3rd floors are accessible via Gilbert Addition and the basement is accessible via the Monroe Avenue entrance.

Again, we are very sorry for these unexpected delays and thank you for your patience as we work hard to make OSU’s campus accessible to all students.
