FROM: Office of the Registrar

Dear Student,

Senate Bill 564 directs public universities to annually collect, update, report, and retain student-submitted information that will allow colleges, universities, and the state—as a whole—to measure and address disparities in postsecondary educational outcomes associated with student parents.

The survey should take no more than one minute to complete.

While the survey was previously anonymous we know that students who are parents or guardians may appreciate and benefit from campus services and support so we have updated the survey to allow for name collection. If you have already completed the survey, but are a parent or guardian who would like to be connected to services, you can retake the survey now and our support offices will receive your contact information.

The survey will remain open until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 31. We ask that you take a moment to complete this short survey regarding students who are parents.

We greatly appreciate your time and assistance in collecting this information to better serve students.

Sincerely, Office of the Registrar
