Dear students,
Due to nationwide problems with Amazon Web Services (AWS), outages are affecting OSU final exams being conducted within Canvas.
We regret that some exams for courses have already been impacted, leaving some students unable to complete their exams either completely or effectively.
In response, we are suggesting that faculty who are hosting final exams using Canvas consider other options for students if their exam timing has been affected. Students should await notice from their faculty regarding any changes in exam scheduling because of this outrage. Faculty have been asked to assist students in finding new exam times that are not in conflict with other already scheduled exams.
Updates on this outage and its impact on final exams will be provided as soon as information is available.
