Welcome to winter term. I hope each of you had a restful, healthy and peaceful holiday season. I write to provide brief reminders and updates related to the university’s public health measures.

Invest in your health before Thanksgiving: Get COVID-19 tested today.

 

TRACE OSU Corvallis campus testing continues today until 5 p.m. in Johnson Plaza. Johnson Plaza is located on the north side of campus, between Johnson Hall and Kelly Engineering Center and east of 26th Street.

 

Please take advantage of this opportunity to be tested, particularly if you plan to travel to another location for the Thanksgiving holiday.

TRACE OSU TESTING LOCATION UPDATE

Dear Students,

 

TRACE OSU Corvallis campus testing for students on Thursday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 20 will only take place in Johnson Plaza.

 

Be sure to be tested before Thanksgiving travel.

 

COVID-19 testing will occur from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

 

Johnson Plaza is located on the north side of campus, between Johnson Hall and Kelly Engineering Center and east of 26th Street.

Oregon statewide two-week freeze and impact on OSU operations

Earlier today, Gov. Kate Brown announced a statewide two-week freeze to address the rapid spread of COVID-19.  New measures announced by the Governor to take effect beginning Wednesday, Nov. 18, will impact Oregon State University operations.

OSU Community Members,

 

Oregon State University is collaborating with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to conduct a pilot test of OHA’s Oregon Exposure Notifications, a smartphone-based system developed by Google and Apple that sends users an alert if, based on Bluetooth connections to other devices, they have potentially been in close contact with someone testing positive for COVID-19.
