How do I know if I graduated?

Degrees are cleared approximately two weeks after the term ends. An official email notification will be sent to your MyOSU email address. You also can see if your degree has been awarded by checking your unofficial transcript at myosu.oregonstate.edu in the unofficial transcript section. We expect to award Spring 2017 undergraduate degrees by June 30, 2017.

When will my diploma be ready?

Spring Diploma Availability Date – Students who were eligible to receive their diploma on commencement day but did not attend Commencement, may pick up their diploma starting at 12:00 pm on June 19, 2017.

If you have graduation holds in place now or had holds in place as of June 16, your diploma will not be released until after we award degrees for Spring 2017. We expect to award Spring 2017 undergraduate degrees by June 30, 2017.

Please review your holds through myosu.oregonstate.edu.

Please note that when spring term ends and final grades are posted, the Honors distinction will be evaluated and posted to eligible transcripts. If necessary, your diploma will be reprinted to reflect the Honors distinction. You will receive an email indicating a new diploma is being ordered for you.

My employer or graduate program needs verification of my graduation – what do I do?

Statement of Degree: A Statement of Degree is a good-faith letter indicating your anticipated graduation date. Most employers and graduate schools will accept a Statement of Degree until your degree is actually cleared and posted on the transcript. The Office of the Registrar issues Statements of Degree only for undergraduate students; graduate students must contact the Graduate School, graduate.school@oregonstate.edu. To request a Statement of Degree, please visit our Statement of Degree Instruction Page and submit the required information from your MyOSU email to graduation@oregonstate.edu.
